Skills for Life

Our mission is to inspire a new generation of Scouts filled with a generosity of spirit, practical life skills and a determination to make things better for themselves and the North Cardiff community.

Welcome to 2nd Llandaff

Established in the Early 1900’s the Group has survived two World Wars. Our Scouts have been air raid wardens and held pivotal roles in the D-Day landings. One of our ex-Scouts runs now runs the St Fagans Museum and another designs products for Apple.

We have met on the Belle Vue Crescent site since the 1970s. In 2017 we faced one of our biggest challenges when with the help of the community we raised over ?200,000 to purchase the site and the Old United Reformed Church. Our Forever Home.

Adult volunteers

The Scouts award-winning training scheme for volunteers means that adults get as much from Scouts as young people.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
